Wedding Videography Services - How We Work

Pre-wedding planning

After our initial contact, we will set up a meeting with you to explore what services
you may want, review your wedding schedule, and identify specific products you
desire. We want to get to know you so that your video will reflect who you really
are.

We will attend your wedding rehearsal.  This allows us to get to know the wedding
party and officiants, understand the sequence of events, and identify camera and
microphone locations.  The more details we have both in advance and during the
event, the more prepared we will be to capture those fleeting moments!

If we're doing any pre-wedding productions (such as a love story video or
photomontage) we'll obtain any materials we need, decide where to shoot any
desired video and who to interview if interviews are involved.

If you plan to work with a still photographer, we will coordinate with them (as well
as others involved in the wedding) before your big day.

The Event

We arrive at the site well in advance of the wedding to make sure all our
equipment is set up and ready to go. Depending on the services you have
selected, we may then start documenting the still photo shoot, interviewing family
members, or collecting candid video of the attendees.

One of our main objectives is ensuring all of our technology and camera people
are as unobtrusive as possible, while never missing an important shot.  We seek
camera locations and angles that allow us to obtain close up images from a
distance.  Also, there is no need to worry about low light at your wedding or
reception.  Our mini-digital video (mini-DV) professional (3 CCD) cameras are
capable of light amplification and provide excellent quality video in most low light
situations.

We highly recommend the use of wireless microphones.  These are very small
microphones unobtrusively attached to the garment of the bride and/or groom
and/or officiant.  They are able to pick up the most authentic sound with the
greatest clarity and audio range.    We use a separate microphone to pick up
ambient (audience) sound.
